Sunrooms can be divided into five stages of development based on their materials and manufacturing methods

There are three types of sunrooms: one is a pure wooden structure sunroom, the other is a pure steel structure sunroom, the third is an aluminum curtain wall structure sunroom

There are three types of sunrooms: one is a pure wooden structure sunroom, the other is a pure steel structure sunroom, the third is an aluminum curtain wall structure sunroom, and the fourth is a steel aluminum structure sunroom.
After Columbus discovered the New World and before the Industrial Revolution, many tropical plants, flowers, and fruits entered Europe. The cold climate in Europe could not adapt to its production, and the royal nobles in Europe enjoyed this kind of thing very much. Therefore, the skilled craftsmen of the royal family built some greenhouses to meet the needs of the nobles. Later, people discovered that these greenhouses, filled with sunlight and greenery, could not only serve as greenhouses for cultivating tropical crops, but also create a special space for leisure, entertainment, family gatherings, and studios.
After the First Industrial Revolution, at the 18th century London World Expo, Britain built an exhibition hall covering an area of 80000 square meters to showcase its industrial development. The protagonist is a glass building with a pure steel structure, which is the pinnacle of early steel sunrooms. At this stage, the extensive production and application of steel further expanded the coverage of early sunrooms. We can find steel sunrooms in American feature films such as "The Sound of Music" and "Time Machine".
In the first half of the 19th century, due to the construction of skyscrapers, a new building material aluminum was widely used for building doors, windows, and curtain walls due to its convenient molding, light weight, and high strength. At the same time, modern skylights and canopies are also made of aluminum structures. And with the improvement of living standards, sunrooms have become an essential living space for middle and high-income families in developed countries. Sunrooms have become a way of life abroad. With the increase of Chinese people's income level and the massive construction of villas and duplex houses, sunshine houses have become an irresistible development trend in No. 1 Middle School. At that stage, people built their own sunrooms according to their own wishes, preferring wooden structures that were close to nature and industrialized steel structures. Due to the standardization of a large amount of curtain wall materials, aluminum structures have become the mainstream of sunrooms at this stage.
The main reason why some sunrooms with steel aluminum structures are used abroad is because they are too large. Due to the high strength of steel and easy welding, steel frames and aluminum welding strips are used. Build a large sunroom. In China (especially in Shanghai), due to the novelty and high price of sunrooms, steel aluminum composite (aluminum clad steel sunrooms) is used to reduce costs. Steel serves as the main structural body to meet strength issues, while aluminum serves as surface decoration, making sunrooms durable and more aesthetically pleasing. It can be said that the aluminum clad steel sunroom was a product that was in line with China's national conditions at the beginning of this century. Its advantages are high strength and low cost. Its disadvantage is that the construction period is long and there is no standardization. During the construction process, there are many uncontrollable factors and significant quality fluctuations.
5. Domestic and international sunrooms have entered a new stage, namely, the standardized sunroom system (sum Rooms Stytem) produced in factories. In the UK, the birthplace of sunrooms, sales of this type of sunroom reach as many as 400000 units per year. Imagine in such a small island country, there are so many sales, indicating that sunrooms are a sunrise industry in China. Sunroom products can truly be considered as standard sunroom systems, which have not yet taken shape. A true sunroom system should meet the following conditions: standardization. All profiles, components, and accessories are produced in a standardized manner, known as factory production. All cutting, milling, drilling, tapping and other processing have been completed in the factory. The construction time of the sunroom on site has been greatly reduced, from 2 weeks to 2 months for aluminum clad steel or steel structure construction, to 1-5 days. Due to the continuous emergence of new materials, aluminum and its alloys have various forms of performance. Among them, the most suitable skeleton material for sunrooms is titanium magnesium aluminum alloy, numbered 6063. This type of aluminum alloy has a strength 30% -40% higher than ordinary door and window aluminum, and its price is 1.5 times that of ordinary aluminum. Using this aluminum alloy can enhance the strength and stability of sunrooms. It has excellent performance in wind resistance and earthquake resistance. 3. As the sunroom needs to be exposed to the scorching sun, all plastic parts must have anti UV function, that is, adding modifiers and anti UV agents to the raw materials to prevent plastic parts from yellowing, cracking and aging. 4. Changed the previous packaging and transportation methods. The sunroom system makes it so easy to disassemble and assemble sunrooms, and greatly reduces the trouble and cost during transportation, making it convenient for people to take away a medium-sized sunroom when moving, just like taking away a piece of furniture.
